About Anne
Building on her experience as a fashion designer and boutique owner and her love of sewing and wearing hats, Anne now focuses on designing and making ladies’ couture hats, headpieces and fascinators. She specialises in bespoke hats, creating individual designs for her customers on request. But Anne also creates collections for the spring and summer, autumn and winter and bridal which are available for sale on-line.
Training
Anne studied millinery at Kensington and Chelsea College and at Janie Lashford’s School of Millinery. She continues to develop her skills by attending various master classes and has graduated from Katherine Elizabeth's Millinery and Business Academy.
Your headpiece
Anne is very happy to use your own fabric to match your outfit or to include a favourite piece of jewellery. It is important that you love your hat and feel wonderful wearing it. But Anne believes that everyone suits a hat; it’s just a case of finding the right style for you.
Craft
All Anne's hats are made by hand, using both traditional and more modern techniques. She works with a variety of luxurious materials and creates hand-made flowers and trimmings in organdie, silk, lace, felt, straw and leather. Whenever possible Anne uses ethically sourced products and frequently includes pre-loved fabrics and jewellery in her designs.
