An unusual hand sculptured grey sinamy headpiece on a grey sinamay treardrop button.   The hand sculptured piece has been shaped and folded with the folds edged in a yellow fabric dye.  A twisted yellow quill has been added and the tear drop base has been lined. 
 
The hat base is 8” x 6” (20cms x 15cms) and the overall headpiece measures 11” x 6” (28 cms x 15cms) from front to back and side to side and is 9 1/2” (24cms) high.  It fits any head size and is attached to the head with elastic.  It has been designed to be worn on the right side of the head but could be worn on the left. 
 
It is very comfortable and light to wear. 
 
Ideal for special occasions, weddings, the races, garden parties. 
 
Similar versions can be made in other colours.   Because all items are hand made, there may be slight variations in shape and size.

All of my pieces are hand-blocked or shaped, stiffened and, where appropriate, wired, using traditional millinery techniques. The highest quality materials are used, and each piece is hand-stitched with the greatest of care.
